Its Sunday evening and I am sitting in Toronto International airport. Heathrow and Gatwick are closed due to the ash cloud and our flight home to the UK tonight is postponed. Unlike European airlines Air Canada will accept no responsibility for passengers. It may be a long stay here in Canada. This is beginning to have a familiar ring about it.
