Britain's Legacy in Palestine: PRC Annual Conference

I was delighted to participate in the Palestinian Return Centre (PRC) annual conference yesterday. The theme was "Britain's Legacy in Palestine"

There was an impressive line-up of speakers including Professor Uri Davis, Dr Ghada Karmi, Martin Linton, Sabbah Al Mukhtar, John Bond, Alison Weir, Jeremy Corbyn and others. See here for photos of the speakers.
I gave a paper on the Theological and Ideological Roots of the Balfour Declaration. John Bond compared and contrasted the "Sorry Campaign" in Australia with the Palestinian claims and Sabbah Al Mukhtar and Martin Linton considered the "Mau Mau Case" in Kenya and their legal fight for compensation.

The conference was opened by Ambassador Manuel Hassassian and I was asked to give the closing summary and challenge.

Check out the PRC website for transcripts and videos of the presentations and here for photos from the conference
